Nice session. Wasn't expecting much but arrived to find a patchy wind and a meaty shorebreak. While gassing with the lurkers on the beach, the wind filled in and apart from the odd hole, the wind blew a comfortable 5m strength throughout. There were occasional big lumps coming in - I swooped round the front of one, which didn't look much from behind only to find myself on the face of a monster. Straight over the falls and a nasal rinsing made me a bit more cautious near shore, but really good fun afternoon. Packed up just in time before the rain arrived.
